  • Retreat Volunteers - Join us at Easton Mountain during one of our weekend or week-long retreats. Enjoy supporting the diverse retreat community, share meals, and the peace of the Easton Mountain environment, while you offer service in exchange for time in the country and away your routine.

  • Short-Term On-Site Volunteer Stay for up to One Month For volunteers who have already experienced volunteering on the weekend basis and who want to stay longer, it is possible to request one-week, two-weeks, three-weeks, or four-weeks. You should get in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator a month in advance to discuss availability, Easton Mountain's need, and the areas of talent / interest that you may bring to Easton. You will be asked to fill out a longer form application, exploring your interest in Easton Mountain and our mission.

All inquiries regarding volunteering should be made through our Volunteer Coordinator. You can reach them at

Recognizing the wonderful diversity of the LGBTQ community, Easton Mountain strives to include people of every sexual orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, ability, and socio-economic status. With this spirit in mind, recognizing that every person doesn’t have the financial resources to attend all of the retreats we produce, we offer a limited number of full and partial scholarships. We ask that each applicant attempt to make some sort of financial commitment according to their ability, no matter how small.

Our Management Team will review the applications and respond via email regarding scholarships. Although we won’t be able to honor every request, we’ll work hard to review each application and ensure a fair process of awarding scholarships.

Thank you for your time and for your interest in our shared mission at Easton Mountain!

You can help us to improve and expand our capacity and facilities by donating items to Easton. We are in need of many items or donations to cover the costs of them. If you would like to help, please visit our Amazon Wish List.  If you have an item not listed that you think we might be able to use, please contact us by email using our contact form or call us at 1-518-692-8023. *Please note: Since our needs change over time, please be sure to contact us prior to donating any goods or services to ensure we are still in need of the item(s) you want to donate.

One of the traditional roles of community is to hold the memory of those who have died.  Our Memorial Garden is a peaceful space where loved ones can be remembered. It is a quiet space for reflection, where one may sense the presence of loved one who are now gone.

Located above the apple orchard, the area was originally established as a family cemetery by the Harrington Family, early settlers who came to Easton Mountain shortly after the American Revolution. We have added a sculpture designed by artist and community member, Moss Tidd, as an altar to the ancestors with a columbarium for ashes of those who have passed. There are plans to continue developing the Memorial Garden as it becomes more utilized by our community.

We invite you to make use of this sacred space.

Here are some possibilities:

  • Have a stone in the garden with a deceased person's name on it.

  • Place ashes of a loved one in the columbarium sculpture.

  • Reserve a place in the columbarium sculpture for yourself.

As part of the Legacy Project, we invite community members interested in using the Memorial Garden to consider including Easton Mountain in their bequest. Your gift can help Easton continue to be a place for healing and growth for the LGBT community and beyond. For information, please contact us using  our contact page  or by talking to Harry or John.
